Everything you need to know about Absolute Sportfishing
Yes, all guests must purchase their own Tidal Waters fishing license with a Salmon Conservation stamp online prior to the trip. Licenses are not included in the charter rate.
You have the opportunity to catch all five species of Pacific Salmon: Chinook (King), Coho (Silvers), Sockeye (Red), Pink (Humpies), and Chum (Dogs). We also offer bottom fishing for Lingcod and Rockfish when in season.
Absolutely. Captain Laurel has over 20 years of experience teaching beginners. He provides hands-on demonstrations and patient guidance so that anyone can learn to hook, play, and land a salmon like a pro.
Upon returning to the marina, your catch is professionally cleaned and bagged for transport at no extra charge. (Note: Fish storage is not included).
The 26-foot Offshore 255 Pursuit is equipped with a covered and heated seating area, an on-board washroom, and high-quality electronics. We also provide rain gear (jackets and pants) for all guests.
All charters are strictly private trips. The rates cover 1 to 4 people per boat, ensuring you and your group have the captain's full attention.
