The boat is very well suited for the rough west coast waters of Vancouver Island and provides a smoother ride than its competitors including Boston Whaler and Grady White. It boasts an 8’6 beam (width) and is 27’ overall. With a single 2022 300HP Mercury outboard for power and a brand new Mercury 9.9 EFI trolling motor, this boat is designed to get you to the fishing grounds quick. The boat has ample storage in the bow, a fully functioning marine head (bathroom in boat talk), fish hold to store the catch, booming sound system with bluetooth, and it’s loaded with top of the line fishing gear and tackle.

You do not need to bring your own safety devices or gear, as everything is provided on board. If you have personal equipment you prefer to use, you are more than welcome to bring it along.
Alcoholic beverages are permitted on board for guests over 18 years old. However, the trip does not supply alcohol, so you must bring your own drinks.
The trip operates rain or shine, but high winds can pose a safety issue. If it is unsafe to be on the water, the captain will attempt to reschedule your trip. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
As long as the fish meets all current regulatory standards and size limits, you are fully allowed to keep the fish you catch.
There is a fully functioning marine head on board for guests to use comfortably during the trip.
Initial deposits are non-refundable unless severe weather conditions prevent the vessel from leaving the dock on the day of your trip. If you cannot make the agreed-upon date, the captain will do their best to reschedule if notified within a reasonable time frame.
Dogs are always welcome on board this dog-friendly trip. If you do not have a dog but would like some canine company, the captain’s easy-going Border Collie, Anne Chovie, loves to join the trips.
