Journey from Port Renfrew's beautiful coast to excellent deep-sea fishing locations such as Swiftsure Bank. Use downriggers to target rockfish (Yellowtail, Red Snapper, Quillback) and jigs for lingcod (seasonal, May 1–September 30) near rocky reefs and kelp beds. Guides provide hands-on instruction and use onboard fish identification guides to educate about species and their ecological role. 10:00 AM – Mid-Morning Break: Enjoy complimentary snacks (granola bars, fruit) and beverages (water, coffee) while admiring dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, and wildlife like seals and bald eagles. Continue Fishing: Resume fishing, focusing on filling your limit (per DFO regulations: 3 rockfish daily, 1 lingcod in season) with guide assistance. Head back while guides begin filleting your catch, adhering to DFO size and possession limits. Your catch is professionally portioned, vacuum-packed, and flash-frozen for transport.
